Many thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this year’s Sisterhood Closing
Luncheon such a success. Mazel Tov to Diane Treuhaft, this year’s Sisterhood Woman of the
Year. Not only does Diane work hard for our Sisterhood, she is always there when called upon
to help with the many functions and events that our synagogue has for our members. We
would also like to extend a Mazel Tov to Marcia Grossman, President and Phyllis Wittenberg,
Secretary/Treasurer for 2010-2011.
Sisterhood is now planning many exciting programs and events for the upcoming year. We thank everyone who
continues to support our Sisterhood and all its many programs and projects. Because of all your support, our
Donor, Rummage Sale and Shaloch Manos projects were a huge success and have enabled us to turn monies
over to the synagogue to help support our shul. We need your continued help through the coming year to continue
all that we do to ensure the future of Congregation Etz Chayim. If you are not a member and would like to join our
Sisterhood and take an active role in all we do, please contact Kathryn Gallon at 419-841-0890. We need
everyone’s support to continue to remain a strong and vibrant arm of our synagogue.
We wish everyone a wonderful and relaxing summer. Enjoy these months and be ready to take part in all the
wonderful programming that is being planned for the 2010-2011 year.
